Highlights of the meeting of Construction Committee
A meeting was held on December 29, 2020 under the Chairmanship of Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, Sarvashri Champat Rai, Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, Dr. Anil Mishra and Shri Nripendra Misra were also present.
A presentation was made by Director, CBRI, M/s L&T and M/s TCE on the recommendations of Expert Committee under Professor V.S. Raju. Chairman Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj invited other experts to make comments on the subject if any particular point needs to be highlighted.
Chairman thanked all the participants for their valuable contribution.
The Construction Committee-Trust later met to deliberate on the choice of technology and
related matters in the background of Expert Committee recommendations. The Committee decided in favour of option 2, i.e. open excavation process for foundation structure of the Temple. The Committee also discussed the use of engineered material to be filled into excavated area in the layers with use of latest technology & equipments for compaction and strengthening.
