- Students of the MIT SVS B.Sc Integral Psychology program
- Bachelors in Psychology at other colleges, subject to additional course-work during M.Sc (12 extra credits).

Rationale
MIT School of Vedic Sciences has already launched and successfully scaled up its BSc Integral Psychology program which is a very unique program in India and perhaps even in the world. Hence it is a natural progression for adding a Masters program in the same stream in order that the students have the opportunity to continue to expand their expertise in a uniquely positioned global niche area and enter the professional world as the next generation of holistic counselors, psychotherapists and leadership coaches who will be armed with the best of modern and ancient insights into human behaviour. Later, the students will have the option to convert their degree into our 5-year integrated M.Sc in Integral Psychotherapy program (i.e., 2 more years after B.Sc). This program will enable the students to become professionals in this field with the ability for independent practice as well as further research.

Course Duration
Duration: 2 years – Full time
Semesters: 4 semesters with 83 credits spread over two years (91 credits for non-SVS students)
Fee Structure
- INR 85000/- per annum for B.Sc Integral Psychology graduates from MIT SVS.
- INR 95000/- per annum for students coming from outside MIT SVS.
Student Intake
- 10 (minimum), 30 (maximum)
Method of Delivery
- This is a full-time on-campus program in MIT-ADT University, Pune.
- Theory will be covered in self-study mode with student presentations, faculty review and discussions.
- Case studies will be used to imbibe the theory.
- Skill courses will train students for hands-on assessment and intervention.
- The contact hours will be face to face sessions with blended learning sessions conducted using the latest technology and constructivist approach. Methods used will be jigsaw cooperative learning technique, debates, discussions, think-pair-share, group discussions, poster presentations, seminars etc. for which worksheets and handouts will be used.
Program Structure
The program is structured with a common core curriculum that lays the foundations and a set of electives based on student preferences. It will be divided into three groups of courses spread over 4 semesters. The groups of courses are as follows:
- Core courses
- Elective Course
- Skill Based course- Hands-on-training
- Core Courses: Core courses are compulsory for all the candidates. They help the candidates to understand the historical background of modern psychology, Vedic psychology philosophy, sociology of India and rest of the world. Special emphasis is given to introduce the recent advances and trends in the field of psychology.
- Elective Courses: Elective courses are offered in semester V and VI. Candidates are expected to select any one electives from the list provided based on their area of interest. Electives will be of 4 credits. This kind of selection of electives provides candidates with a specialization which is USP of the program.
- Skill Training Courses: Aim of skill based course is to develop the necessary practical skills required as a future professional working in the psychology sector. There are many pathways through which skills can be developed amongst the candidates.
Assessment & Evaluation System
- Assessments will be internal and external. Weight age for External: Internal: is 60:40.
- Semester pattern of assessment will be followed. External university exams will be conducted for only core courses and electives at the end of the semester for 60 Marks.
- Student has to pass internal assessment and external examination separately
- Assessment pattern of core course will be carried out as shown in the table:
