A similar significant gesture is the declaration of 1111 Shankha Vadan during the auspicious event. But why is Shankha Vadan important for Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishthan?!! Let’s explore the science and spirituality behind the innocuous conch shell!
Shankh is revered in Hindu scriptures, iconography, and rituals. This gift of the ocean is an instrument of legend, science, and spirituality. The legend of Samudra Manthan states that one of the things to emerge with the Amrit was Panchajanya, a conch shell. This conch shell is always part of Lord Vishnu’s attire and ensemble. Similarly, many revered Sanatani Deities hold a conch shell in their hands.
