श्रोत्रादीनीन्द्रियाण्यन्ये संयमाग्निषु जुह्वति |
शब्दादीन्विषयानन्य इन्द्रियाग्निषु जुह्वति || 26||


Some sacrifice hearing and other senses as sacrifice in the fire of restraint; others sacrifice sound and various objects of the senses as sacrifice in the fire of the senses.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna explains to Arjun about how the individuals sacrifice the senses or the object of senses.

The brahmacharis (celibates), guided by a genuine spiritual teacher, harness their minds by refraining from sensory indulgence. They are symbolized as offering their senses and the process of hearing into the fire of their disciplined minds. This is their yagna or worship to the Bhagwan Shri Krishna

Householders dedicate the very objects of the senses into their sensory experiences and maintain detachment while engaging with them. They present these sensory objects as offerings, envisioning their senses as the sacred fire to which they offer these oblations. They perceive their senses as the sacred fire, and they engage in sensory pleasure as a symbolic act of performing yagna or worship.
