Humans are their own worst enemies! The statement is most true in the case of Islam and its fatwa mentality. The pluralistic society of Bharat saw several spikes in Islamic intolerance on the occasion of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. While Sanatnis in the nation united in their diversity, Islamists united to slam one of their cadres. Any Muslim who wished Hindus well on the hallmark day received narrow-minded ideologies, threats, and abuse.

The latest manifestation of Muslim hate-mongering comes in the form of a ‘fatwa‘ issued against Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, the chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization. What was his crime? Attending the Ayodhya Ram temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22. Let’s talk about how this symbolic gesture towards fostering communal harmony and national unity turned into a nightmare for the Chief Imam.

Why Did Muslim Clerics Declare Fatwa on Chief Imam?

Dr. Ilyasi thought long and hard about participating in the January 22nd ceremony. Driven by a desire for inclusivity and a vision of a united nation, the Imam chose to go to Ayodhya and celebrate with his Hindu brethren.

In his interview, the Imam says he received nothing but love from the Sanatanis in Ayodhya Ram Mandir!

For a moment he thought that maybe in Bharat all communities can coexist in peace. However, ‘peaceful’ hostility, abuse, and threats met his noble intentions. His suffering continues in the issuance of a ‘fatwa‘ against him by Muslim clerics.

Dr. Ilyasi’s commitment to fostering unity and understanding faces religious sanctions by his fellow Muslims. The sanction is a symbol of the entrenched forces of intolerance in Islam. Similar to the Pakistani ‘peacefuls’, these Muslim clerics seek to divide Bharat for their Allah! They target all individuals who dare to bridge the gaps between the Hindu-Muslim communities. Consequently, such elements perpetuate a vicious cycle of animosity and mistrust. Sowing seeds of discord and fear of the truth behind the Fatwa Mentality!

Most Indian Muslims are radicals brainwashed by hatred. They are a rising tide of intolerance in the nation. Harmony and unity are just words in the dictionary to these simple-minded zombies.

‘Peacefuls’ are easily manipulated by power-wielding hardline clerics.

These clerics issue ‘fatwas’ to control the narrative of religious discourse in Bharat.

Are these ‘peacefuls’ truly invested in the upliftment of Muslims? Are they bothered about the security of their religious identity? Or do they seek to keep Bharat divided and fighting at ‘peacefuls’ on home ground?

Dr. Ilyasi took his stance to support Bharat before Islamic identity. His defiance in the face of the ‘fatwa’ speaks volumes about the true nature of his detractors. He firmly states that his message of love is not a crime. He will not apologize nor resign in fear of these religious zealots. However, his case shows the clear cause of rising intolerance in Bharat and the world. The intolerant Islamists harass the world under their religious sanctions. Refusing to cow down to these ‘peaceful’ threats and intimidation is a small way to defy these narrow-minded bigots.

As Bharat grapples with the scourge of intolerance, its true strength should come from placing the good of the nation before that of the community. Indian Muslims should celebrate Bharat’s shared civilizational heritage. Why? Well, a few generations ago all of us were the same oppressed Sanatani Akhand Bharat! Let us heed the example of Dr. Ilyasi and reject Islamic tolerance. May ‘peaceful’ hatred and bigotry never gain popularity in Bharat! Jai Hind!
