One individual, identified as Sharafat Khan, who serves as the ward president of Ward 5 in Nepalganj, was leading the procession and allegedly inciting violence against Hindus.
In response to the Hinduphobic slogans and violence during the Eid Milad procession, a Hindu group known as ‘The Omkar Family’ called for a Nepalganj Bandh, organizing a peaceful protest rally.
