The Gita Gyan encapsulated in Shlokas 16-21&22 inspire humans to avoid becoming more debased versions of themselves. These verses ask all humans to avoid qualities like want, greed, lust, desire, ego, anger, or wrath. They are nothing but the way to eternal darkness in the atman. They are the source of self-destruction!

In modern society, Sanatanis are often entangled in the pursuit of material gains and external validations. The Maya Jaal of this materialistic world is a maze that incites these three dark qualities in a human. In a life where ‘want’ and ‘ego’ drive human existence, these verses of the Bhagavad Gita guide modern Sanatanis through the maze of life.

They ask Modern Sanatanis to cultivate discernment in their actions. The modern world is inundated with conflicting values and views. Thus, a Sanatani’s ability to distinguish between Dharma and Adharma becomes paramount to spiritual awakening. Only by acting in righteousness can Sanatanis avoid the pitfalls of the Gates of Eternal Darkness!!

The Bhagwat Gita asks Sanatanis to cultivate enlightened qualities and virtues. They should be the roadmap for overall personal growth in the modern materialistic world. Mere intellectual pursuit is insufficient for a transformative Dharmic life! The cultivation of good acharan or thoughtful & mindful behavior allows Sanatanis to navigate away from the gates of eternal darkness.

Let the shlokas 16- 21&22 beckon the modern Sanatani to embark on a journey of self-discovery and Dharmic living. Let the materialistic world’s pitfall be known to all Dharmic souls on the path of righteousness. As the modern world evolves, let the hidden Bhagwat Gita Gyan in these verses steer individuals away from Adharmic actions or thoughts and the gates of eternal darkness!
