Passengers aboard the Anga Express, en route from Bhagalpur to Bengaluru, found themselves in a state of frenzy. Why?

Rumors ran wild about a ‘fire’ among passengers.

Apparently, in a bid to escape the perceived danger, some passengers disembarked the train and attempted to cross the tracks.

However, it seems that their imprudent escape attempt soon turned fatal. Reports state at least 2 fleeing men were hit by the oncoming train. Confirmed news of 2 deaths and at least 14 injuries comes forth from sources. Currently, the rumor about the ‘rumor of fire’ stands unsubstantiated. However, the cost of the rumor was human life and pain!
