After repeatedly trying to relaunch its ‘Panauti’ of a leader, the Congress went on a drive to relaunch itself! However, like the earlier campaigns, this relaunch also turns into a rather embarrassing event! It seems that the Congress party ran short of funds after Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s 350 crore income tax raid. Thus, probably to avoid future financial fiascos and to legalize its black money, Congress launched its “Donate for Desh” crowdfunding campaign.

Latest Congress news confirmed that the party’s “Donate for Desh” search result redirects potential donors to BJP and OpIndia donation pages. This misadventure not only exposes the party’s lackluster IT prowess but also raises questions about its ability to run any management-level operation!!!

This is what happens when the leaders on top are sycophants or just plain psychos!!! The grand old party overlooked something as simple as a basic prerequisite for a digital campaign! How difficult or expensive was it to secure domain names when even a news website could buy them before the INC???
While Congress embarks on its crowdfunding journey, seeking financial support for the party’s revival, questions arise about its financial standing. The party’s assets are more than ₹812 crores in electoral bonds till July 2023. Moreover, the party received donations worth ₹95 crores in 2021-22.
