As the United Kingdom still grapples with the aftermath of Brexit, the country faces a new set of challenges stemming from demographic shifts and the resulting cultural dynamics. The unchecked influx of Muslim immigrants has resulted in many instances of alarm and concern! Recently, the resonating chants of Allah-u-Akbar and Sharia for the UK should raise red flags in the minds of the British and the world! Let’s debate the potential influence of Sharia law on the UK and the world.
Despite Brexit, the UK’s demography has undergone significant changes due to the influx of a large number of Muslim immigrants. Reportedly, 6.5% of the UK is now Muslim with thousands converting to Islam every year.
What happens to a nation where the Ummah rises in large numbers?!! They start making unfair demands that they have no right to make! The Muslim immigrant population has begun vocalizing demands for Sharia in UK. While trying to boost their aging population., The UK has invited the devil into their homes! These immigrants are now vocally challenging the UK’s traditional norms, values, and laws.
In August 2023, an Imam in Birmingham called for action against a school teacher. Why? The teacher was discussing the controversial Charlie Hebdo cartoon. The cartoon created a wave of Muslim discontent in France and Europe. Now, just by discussing the incident the Imam lodged blasphemy against Islam and British values complaints against the teacher.
However, this was far from the truth. How can a discussion of a controversy be blasphemed? Nevertheless, the Imam’s words triggered a dangerous situation for the teacher. The teacher and his family faced threats from Muslim mobs, forcing them into hiding due to this supposed offense.
The UK already has approximately 30 Sharia “councils.” These councils differ from Sharia courts of law. They make decisions based on Islamic religious laws that cannot overrule UK courts or contradict UK law. They usually help women claim their rights during divorce and try to manage the religious and personal choices of Muslims. However, th eBBC itself did a report on how badly misogynistic these councils were! Then what is the purpose of allowing such biased and propaganda driven councils???!!!
However, many lawmakers are trying to incorporate Sharia in UK laws. In 2016, such a bill was shot down in the UK Parliament. However, Muslims are demanding an increase in Sharia legal authority. They have taken to the streets of the UK to demand a broader implementation of Sharia law beyond their localized councils.
The demands for Sharia in UK should be red flags and sincere concerns in the hearts of the British. Sharia in the UK would potentially mean that a major global political power will be under Islamic dictates.
As observed in the case of all Islamic nations, Sharia law allows supercharged toxic masculinity to dominate the land. It leads to restrictions on women’s freedoms and choices. It persecutes marginalized groups, including homosexuals and atheists. Moreover, it spells disaster for Sanatana Dharma followers in the land. The Muslims do not like Sanatani idol worship or Sanatani devotees. Thus, Sharia in UK would mean the death of Sanatani culture in Britain.
The implementation of Sharia in UK would make it resemble a more powerful version of Afghanistan. The nuclear-powered nation would dance at the behest of its Imams and Ummah. This could mean the end of Europe as we know it! The repercussions of such a change would be damaging for its neighboring European nations as well. France, Germany, and others are struggling with similar demographic shifts.
The chants of Allah-u-Akbar on the streets of the UK should not be ignored. They are harbingers of a potential global disaster. If left to grow unchecked, the Ummah’s greed for power and control would have far-reaching consequences for the nation and its people.
The need of the hour for the UK is to promptly enact measures that preserve the UK’s pluralism. Additionally, the nation must actively reject and shutdown all such calls of Sharia. Moreover, those who make such demands must be monitored by the authorities to ensure the protection of individual freedoms and human rights.
The echoes of “Allah-u-Akbar” in UK streets signify the advent of a dangerous societal transformation. A stitch in time saves nine! The British must believe their own proverbs and make timely interventions and policy decisions to safeguard the UK’s identity and integrity.
