But wait, who is Vivek Ramaswamy?

Vivek Ramaswamy is an Indian-origin American entrepreneur, businessman and a politician.

He is contesting for the post of the American presidency on a Republican Party ticket.

Ever since he announced his candidature his fan following has proliferated. He is being looked upon as the go-to man who can solve the myriad problems that America is facing.

In the intra-Republican party debates he literally outclassed his opponents with the use of erudition, knowledge, common sense and rationality.

He has proposed solid plans when it comes to securing the refugee dispute with Mexico.

He also has, in various media interviews proposed solid solutions to the war with Ukraine, the relationship with China among other things.

Ramaswamy also regards the India-America relationship to be of paramount importance for both countries.

He considers it to be a bedrock for protection and promotion of democratic liberal values.

His rise amidst a string of other Indian-American candidates like Nikki Haley or Namrata Randhawa, Pramila Jayapal etc shows the growing influence of Indian-Americans.

You, the common Indian is bound to feel proud of our Indian expats abroad and of their achievements.

The Indian diaspora is some 20 million strong community spread across the world.

They are literally making waves in almost every field they are in be it academia, politics, corporate world, social work etc.

The CEOs of some of the world’s biggest companies and firms are Indians.

To put the cherry on top of this cake Ajay Banga, an Indian American business execute has been appointed to head the World Bank.

The World Bank is one of the most important multilateral financial institutions in the world.

Other examples include Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the UK.

Pravind Jugnauth, an Indian origin politician serving as the Prime Minister of Mauritius. Also, very recently a Tharman Shanmugaratnam has been elected as the new President of Singapore.
