Leftists and Liberals are very good at propaganda and perception management! The recent book ‘Love Jihad And Other Fictions’ is ready to be their latest weapon against the rising Hindu might! Video clippings, police cases, and abuse surround the discourse around the conversion via ‘Love Trap’ or other means! However, this means nothing to the authors of this propaganda in disguise.
This new contentious book by three journalists together attempts to negate reality by using numbers and purported facts. Their narratives are vying for public attention! Therefore, let’s give them the attention they seek by examining the book’s content and underlying motivations. Is it propagating an agenda or debunking it ?!?

At first glance, the premise of the book appears very clean and straightforward. It aims to provide factual evidence to refute the existence of ‘Love Jihad’ and other conversion conspiracy theories. Authors Sreenivasan Jain, Mariyam Alavi, and Supriya Sharma assert that their sole aim is to dismantle the baseless narratives surrounding this phenomenon. They wanted to dig deep and present hard facts to counter viral pseudo-falsehoods. However, what they really mean to do is drown the truth in numbers and statistics!
A deeper analysis of their approach raises significant questions about their true intentions and biases. The authors feel helpless in the face of the rising anti-conversion in Bharat. Therfore, their solution is to write a book that twists the truth under the pretense of research. In reality the book decries the reality of thousands of cases and experiences recorded in media reports and videos!
One of the most glaring shortcomings of the book is its dismissal of the lived experiences of countless victims and their families. The authors reduce the issue to a mere fabrication! One cannot invalidate the incidents in Ajmer Dargah, Kerala, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and several others places by the inability of the police to use the term ‘Love Jihad‘ in reports or FIRs!
Firstly, they attack the reality that this form of coercive entrapment does not have a clear definition! However, the lack of a clear definition does not deny the unfortunate truth! Thereafer, they attempt to present the lack of formally recognized literature in the subject. But the lack of formal literature cannot be used as proof to deny reality!
The authors’ talk about the reported conversion statistics in inter-faith marriages. This small percentage of reported conversions becomes their best weapon. Therefore, instead of critically examining the videos and interviews, the authors only seem interested in verifying their predetermined hypothesis! It appears that they have already decided on their sought-after conclusion. Did they not compromise the integrity of their analysis by dismissing the truth of the phenomenon? Were they really on the path of Truth and Justice?

India does not have a universal Love Jihad law. Some states have a mild version to prevent coercive conversions. This makes filing ‘Love Jihad‘ as a cause of an FIR almost impossible. The police can almost never club coerced conversion cases with Love Jihad cases. They aren’t permitted to do so by law! Thus, it cannot be the police’s legal stance! However, the pain of the community where women are systematically lured by the promise of marriage and love is real. The interviews and video clips are true, and out there for all to see. The police has caught many Mualanas and Maulvis who incite zealots to enagage in this Jihad!
Most don’t know the reality is that they don’t need to convert to have an interfaith marriage! They are forced to accept Islam to be with their partner! WHY? The ‘peaceful’ community does not recognize inter-faith daughter-in-laws or her children. The authors’ of this propaganda book do not ask these critical question. They are like an ostrich with their heads buried in the sand. What they don’t see, they believe isn’t happening!
Additionally, the authors ignore the underlying issues of sexual coercion, emotional exploitation, and manipulation that perpetuate this cycle of abuse. Most Hindu female victims fall for the love words and succumb to the pressure! Did we forget the truth of ‘The Kerala Story’ or the ‘Ajmer 92’ incident? There is no recourse for most victims. It is either conversion or social shunning.
The author’s state that Love Trap Conversions are a small percentage and not a big conspiracy as projected by the VHP or BJP. Do they not see that only a few victims come forward in a police investigation? Do they not understand that the rest simply submit to their fate to their new faith? By dismissing the issue as a mere blip of statistics and a conspiracy theory, the authors effectively silence the voices of exploited victims or their families.

Above shortcomings question the true intent behind “Love Jihad And Other Fictions.” Are the authors really going to use numbers and facts to negate the truth of human emotions and turmoil? Did they not see the news of a Muslim girl’s rape by fellow Muslim boys for being friends with a Hindu boy? Did they not understand the interview where acid was thrown on a male Hindu boy by a Muslim girl for not converting to Islam and marrying her?
The label of ‘AGENDA’ should not be used for the harsh truth’s of Hindus in Hindu Rashtra. Whether driven by ideological biases, ‘toolkit’ grants. or personal motivations, the authors’ approach raises questions of credibility as objective journalists. Misinformation is usually peddled with convenient half-truths! This seems to be the case in the books like “Love Jihad And Other Fictions”. Sensitivity, empathy, and objectivity were probably shed by the authors to present their version of the truth. Hopefully, the public response will expose these authors and their motivations. May Bharat never forgive these propaganda journalists and their master! May such biased literature never gain credence in Bharat again!
